04 · HOW IT WORKS
From first conversation to first run.
Every engagement follows the same path. In a way, it’s a Flow too.

STEP 01
Request
It starts with a request, usually through an introduction from someone we already work with. Tell us about the work that takes up your week.

STEP 02
Discovery call
We walk through that work with you: what comes in, what has to go out, and where the hours go.

Quote
You receive a quote in the app, priced in US dollars. It is valid for 7 days.

STEP 04
Custom Build Order
When you sign the quote, it becomes a Custom Build Order. The one-time Development Fee is due at signing.

Build
We build the Flow around your real work.

STEP 06
Lab
You test the Flow in your Lab before it goes live. Lab runs are free.

Live
Once it is accepted under your Custom Build Order, the Flow goes live in your app.

Runs
From then on, each run uses your monthly plan, and we keep the Flow maintained.
05 · PRICING
How pricing works.
Everything is priced in US dollars. There is no public price list: each custom Flow’s Development Fee is quoted per project, and plan prices are shown in the app before you subscribe.
Development Fee
A one-time fee for each custom Flow, quoted per project in US dollars and due when you sign the Custom Build Order.
Credited back as Salt Credits
When you pay a Development Fee, the same amount is added to your account as Salt Credits. Salt Credits apply to your subscription charges for 12 months.
Monthly plan
Ongoing use is a monthly subscription plan that renews automatically until you cancel. The app shows how much of your plan you’ve used as a percentage.
Runs continue as normal.
HARD STOP New runs stop at 100%. No overage is ever charged. You can add a top-up if you want to keep going.
- Payments are processed securely.
- Invoices are paid in the app.
- Salt & Leaf never stores full card numbers.
